Greenfield to build smartest residential towers in PH
Malaya Business News, May 16, 2013

Balance between state-of-the-art technology and modern comfort makes Greenfield District the ideal address for today’s dynamic city dwellers. Touted as Metro Manila’s first smart and connected district, Greenfield Development Corp.’s prime property combines state-of-the-art conveniences with vibrant natural wonders.

Its finest project to date, Twin Oaks Place, puts Greenfield District at the forefront of urban development as the first intelligent and future-ready home in the Philippines.

Recently, Greenfield Development Corp.  broke ground for the Twin Oaks Place East Tower.  Rising at the center of Greenfield District, Twin Oaks Place redefines urban living in Metro Manila by providing its upwardly mobile residents with a chance to be fully connected via a state-of-the-art technological backbone. This means seamless high-definition teleconferencing with business associates or loved ones from your living room, or downloading a 1080p movie.

Twin Oaks Place’s Cisco-powered Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology allows unit owners to subscribe to up to 1GBps of bandwidth; more than 100 times faster than traditional copper cables. This superior Internet connectivity and bandwidth puts Twin Oaks Place at par with first-rate cities like Seoul and Tokyo.

Twin Oaks Place’s Smart Home System allows homeowners to control their units wherever they are.

“With our development’s integrated fiber-optic technology, homeowners have the option to connect IP-enabled appliances to the Internet and utilize a broad range of online-based applications,” said  Jeffrey D. Y. Campos, chairman of the board and president of Greenfield. “Home appliances, lights, curtains, and even the thermostat can be switched on or off with the press of a button on their smartphone or tablet, even when they’re on the go.”

Offering one- and two-bedroom lofts, as well as studio units, and 1-bedroom flats, the first 43-storey building, the Twin Oaks Place West Tower is set to be completed by May 2014.

The prime residential condominium provides easy access to modern conveniences, with two floors dedicated to exclusive amenities, and three floors for commercial use as part of its smart and connected design.

The property is strategically situated in Mandaluyong, the heart of Metro Manila, and is surrounded by central business districts, shopping centers, schools, terminals, country clubs and other establishments. Moreover, Greenfield District has frontages and is accessible via two major thoroughfares, EDSA and Shaw boulevard.

“Greenfield District was masterfully planned to become an ideal city balancing hi-tech conveniences with natural wonders,”  Campos said.“We devoted generous amount of land from the 12-hectare expanse for open spaces like pocket parks and vibrant gardens, playgrounds, and a landscaped courtyard.”

Anchored by its roots as a property owner and landholding company, Greenfield has grown into a diversified real estate company that has developed mixed-use communities, as well as retail, corporate business, residential and infrastructure developments.

Greenfield has played an instrumental role in the development of Sta. Rosa by laying the groundwork for projects like Greenfield City, Paseo, and several interchanges on the South Luzon Expressway.

The company has provided the foundation for developments like the EDSA MRT-3, and joint venture projects like the Ayala Greenfield Estates, Hillsborough, Manila Southwoods, and Lexington Garden Village.

Now, Greenfield is setting its sights towards revolutionizing living in Mandaluyong. “Through the smart and connected blueprint of Greenfield District, we aim to recreate Mandaluyong into a technologically advanced urban center that measures up to, if not surpasses, the highest urban planning standards in the world,” Campos said.
